About me
I’m Suwanshree Acharya, a Bay Area designer and developer working across brand systems, 3D and motion, interactive storytelling, web products, and full-stack builds. My work tends to live at the overlap of visual craft and implementation, where an idea has to look intentional, feel intuitive, and still hold up once it is actually built.
On the design side, I create packaging, motion pieces, product visuals, and immersive experiences. Projects like Saga V and Flux Afterburn highlight modeling, lookdev, lighting, and narrative pacing, while the Interactive 3D Portfolio pushes those instincts into a real-time browser experience. I care a lot about texture, hierarchy, timing, and the small decisions that make work feel authored instead of generic.
On the development side, I build products that range from AI-powered tools like Name Genie to full-stack SaaS work like IDOONA, collaborative planners like Travel Bucket, and niche community platforms such as Star Yelp, Cosmic Hunt, and Gora. I also enjoy lower-code and service-oriented work when that is the right solution, as shown in projects like WWJ Nepal and Land of Buddha Wellness. Across all of them, my design background shapes how I think about flow, usability, and clarity, while my engineering background helps me carry ideas all the way through release.
I’m most interested in projects where disciplines do not have to stay in separate boxes: brand that informs product, motion that supports UX, engineering that respects visual intent, and interfaces that can grow without losing personality. That is the thread running through this portfolio.
