About me
I’m Suwanshree Acharya (Suwan for short), a Bay Area motion and 3D designer with a foundation in full-stack software. I focus on turning ideas into production-ready visuals, including cinematic fly-throughs, product packaging mockups, and brand motion graphics. With a background in both engineering and design, I bring together code and creativity to make ideas move people.
My work is guided by usability and storytelling, not just surface polish. At Arizona State University, I studied Graphics Information Technology and created projects that proved my range. These included Flux Afterburn, a fully animated starship sequence with hard-surface modeling, HDRI lighting, and advanced camera rigging. I also produced Wake Up & Brew, a 3-second animated logo reveal, and Seasons in 5 Seconds, a looping motion experiment in seasonal transitions. Each project sharpened my storytelling, cross-team collaboration, and ability to deliver under deadlines.
In a mocked professional environment during my studies, I have led sub-teams in projects like Saga V, a premium mocktail brand where I explored 3D bottle design, shifting from a square to a round form to improve usability while keeping a luxury feel. At the startup I co-founded (IDOONA), I have built interactive products such as Name Genie, an AI-powered naming tool, and contributed to Idoona’s ESG reporting platform. My engineering background shapes how I approach motion workflows, from Figma prototypes through After Effects to developer handoff, resulting in motion that looks premium and is practical to ship. I look for teams that give actionable feedback, measure impact, and care about accessibility. My goal is to keep combining development, animation, and design to create visuals that move both audiences and brands forward.
